Dancing In The Moonlight
On Friday evening, February 15th, in the Grand Ballroom of the Gainesville Civic Center, our mid-season fund-raising romantic cabaret will be a night of classy music and dancing. VNG will present music from the last half of the Bid Band swing era: the 40s. Members of the Believers Band from Gainesville First United Methodist Church (who played our first year in the ballroom) will return to provide some schmaltzy tunes for dancing.
Georgia On My Mind
VNG will complete its 44th season with a salute to the state of Georgia on Friday evening and Sunday afternoon, April 26th and 28th at St. Paul Methodist Church. This special presentation will feature compositions by Georgia musicians and music about Georgia.
