The 47th Season of Voices of North Georgia
Friday, October 23rd and Saturday, October 24th 7:30 p.m., Lakewood Baptist Church, 2235 Thompson Bridge Road, Gainesville, GA. It has been six years since we performed a Celtic-themed concert, which always brings in a sizeable audience, and this year we will make the most of it. Featuring music of Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Brittany, this concert will also include music composed recently for movies and concerts in Celtic style.
Friday and Saturday, December 4th and 5th at 7:30 p.m., St. Paul United Methodist Church, 404 Washington Street NW, Gainesville, GA. Featuring several of the beautifully-arranged European carols by Sir John Rutter. These were a joy to present in a past holiday performance, and we’ll enjoy delving into this rich collection again. Accompanied by a small orchestra, our performances will also include many of our holiday favorites from past seasons as well as some new arrangements and compositions.
Let’s Go To The Hop: a mid-Season Gala
Friday, March 4th, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom of the Gainesville Civic Center, 830 Green Street, Gainseville, GA. Voices of North Georgia will be popping on the penny loafers, poodle skirts, jeans and scarves for our mid-season gala, Let’s Go to the Hop. Featuring music of the 1950s, our mid-season event will include dancing, dining and entertainment in the Grand Ballroom of the Gainesville Civic Center.

Friday, April 22nd and Saturday, April 23rd, at 7:30 p.m. Grace Episcopal Church, 431 Washington St., NE, Gainesville, GA. Sacred styles from the Renaissance, Baroque, and Classical eras will predominate with uplifting and inspirational compositions by the great composers of the Latin and English church.
