The 44th Season of Voices of North Georgia

Broadway Melodies

Friday and Saturday, October 5th and 6th at the Lakewood Baptist Church Chapel, Voices will return to The Great White Way with performances of Broadway hits in choral arrangements, ensemble pieces and “power solos”.

The Voice of Christmas

Friday and Saturday, November 30th and December 1st at St. Paul United Methodist Church, our annual Christmas concert will feature orchestral accompanied pieces from a variety of music styles including compositions from the Baroque, Classical and Romantic eras, as well as popular holiday favorites from our extensive library of Christmas music.

Dancing In The Moonlight

On Friday evening, February 15th, in the Grand Ballroom of the Gainesville Civic Center, our mid-season fund-raising romantic cabaret will be a night of classy music and dancing.  VNG will present music from the last half of the Bid Band swing era: the 40s.  Members of the Believers Band from Gainesville First United Methodist Church (who played our first year in the ballroom) will return to provide some schmaltzy tunes for dancing.

Georgia On My Mind

VNG will complete its 44th season with a salute to the state of Georgia on Friday evening and Sunday afternoon, April 26th and 28th at St. Paul Methodist Church.  This special presentation will feature compositions by Georgia musicians and music about Georgia.  A wide variety of vocal and choral styles amd some multimedia elements will make these performances memorable.  Voices of North Georgia was just awarded a $1,500 grant from the Georgia Arts Council to spend on producing this specially-themed show.
